HTC Desire 210 Dual-Sim: A cheaper version of Moto G

On Monday, HTC announced a new phone, Desire 210 Dual-Sim with a price of Rs.8,700/-.



The Desire 210 Dual-Sim as quoted by NDTV "is the poor mans Moto G." With a lesser price as compared to the Moto G, HTC is offering less features from the Moto G, such as the Desire Dual-Sim is powered by 1 GHz Dual-core MediaTek processor whereas the Moto G comes with a 1 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset processor. HTC is offering with only 512MB of RAM which is the one and half of the Moto G with 1 GB of RAM.

The HTC Desire 210 Dual-Sim has only 8GB of storage and 0.3 Megapixel of front-camera. The resolution of the Desire 210 Dual-Sim is 480 x 800 pixels and the screen-size of 4.0 inches.

The Moto G with all its features comes with a greater price of Rs.13,999/- for 16 GB variant and Rs.12,499/- for the 8 GB variant, whereas the HTC Desire 210 Dual-Sim has the one and half times lesser price of just Rs.8,700/-.

The only major difference between the Moto G and the HTC Desire 210 DUal-Sim is that the HTC comes with a microSD slot and the Moto G doesn't, which could turn out to be a huge and crucial difference. For in a country like India where people are provided with the limited connectivity likes to carry around their music and movies.
